Hotel Petres

Owners of Hotel Petres, Cléa and Sotiris Chatzinikolakises, intended to build a summer home on this Páros property; however, the pull of Páros prevailed and, instead, they established Petres in order to spend more time on the island.  Cléa and Sotoris pieced together this magnificent 16-room establishment, with a one-suite addition, all of which have stunning sea views.

The real charm of this budget hotel lies in the owners’ personal touches.  Over a drink, Cléa will warmly welcome you (and can do so in five languages – English, Greek, Italian, French and Arabic) and share the details of her beloved island’s nooks and crannies, while the couple’s thoughtful style is found in everything from the threshing board coffee tables to the sea- and mountain-views from the steam room and Jacuzzi.  A buffet breakfast is served poolside each morning, with homemade pies, coffee and fresh fruit. From $98 (breakfast included), you really can’t go wrong. Hotel Petres is open from mid-April to mid-October.

Kastro Apartments

Antiparos is perfect for a family getaway. This family-friendly island and its people are accommodating to the young and old, alike; and none more so than Magda and Markos Maounis, who run Kastro Apartments, a grouping of eight studio apartments and six large family-sized apartments, all of which have sea-views.  They take customer service seriously, offering to organize cruises, cooking classes and even planning weddings.
